昨晚出席了从前宿舍好友的婚礼

见到了好多熟悉的脸孔

原来这几年来好多人都已经踏入人生的另一个里程碑

组织家庭的，即将组织家庭的，事业有成的

赫然发现我们年纪原来也不轻了

而就我来说

还刚刚是一个开始

自己也还有一堆还没搞好的事要做

既然选择开始，就要竭力走到最后

再努力一点，再耐心一点

时间可以是一种煎熬也可以是一种磨炼

一步一脚印总会到达终点

 

发现自己已开始聆听金曲起来了

原来好的东西是不会随着时间的流逝和推陈出新的事物而改变替换的

反而更显出其无与伦比的价值

因为它值得

脚上的红斑一直好不起来

过去几年断断续续出在脚上

西医好象完全没办法治愈

最多给我止痒膏

治标不治本

最近让中医看了看

医师说我体虚, 湿气重

一直以为是廯的水疱

原来是类似手足口症的东西

手腕上也有两粒

配了一个礼拜的药

昨天刚复了诊

医师为我针灸

脚软一整天

今天针孔很像被虫咬一般红肿

轻微不过不好看

希望有用啦

 

 

CFA考试终于过去了

暂时可以不用这么用功

本以为可以痛痛快快地玩乐一阵子

但回去上班的第一天老板竟然要我去考module 2

而且还要越快越好

因为七月就要正式进行期货交易

又要读一堆没有营养的东西了

告诉你，其实老板们都没有module 2哦

通常都是派小的去做

那么他们就不用做

老板就是老板

 

那天同事蛮贱的

他说午休时巧遇JC时期的前女友

他竟然不认得

还是要女方叫他才认出

唯一可以说的就是她变得比他多

没想到十多年不见老得这么多

什么嘛 男人。。

所以从现在起要好好保养

搞不好将来有人也会认不出我来

后面多加两句废话

哈哈哈

There are lotsa weirdo in Singapore I realised..

When I was on my way to my health screening this morning

there was this old folk sitting at the corner of one of the bench in the train

beside him was an empty seat

as he saw me walking towards that seat, he moved his stuff to let me have the seat

but after i sat down, he sudd dished over a copy of 'my paper' he got from the mrt station and said: for you to read

I was stunned

he didn't even ask if I want it

but he just gave out as a command: read

as if I look like I need to do a lot of reading

but politely, I accepted his kind offer

 

At the clinic

it was so hillarious

one of the nurse told me to collect my urine and stool for test

(ya, right at the spot, not collect from home)

and Joe - my buddy at work, told me to clear my system THOROUGHLY the night before and the same day morning before I went for the check-up to have a more accurate reading

so basically, as one can imagine

what can be out had already been out at home

I gave the nurse the 'something just can't be forced' kinda expression on my face

she told me: try lar

but eventually I failed

and got the container from the clinic 

gotta drop off some day later

 

during the blood test

the nurse asked me if I had Hep B

told her I didn't really know

and it's quite unlikely for me to have it since I've been eating lotsa cockles since young

and nothing had ever happened to me so far

she said to me the reason for asking was that 

if I had it, she was gonna take 2 tubes more of my blood from me

at that instance I told her: confirm I am not Hep B patient

she smiled, but afterwards I realised she actually took that 2 extra tubes of blood out of me eventually

 

there are so many funny tests that needed to go through

like the device to test the lung function

I blew twice cos I blew it too softly the bell didn't ring

and the one to test eye pressure

it just blew air into my eyeballs..

 

overall it's good to have regular health check

one of the RM from my bank was there when I went

she told me it's because of the screening many many years ago

she discovered she is a leukemia patient

luckily enough she found a matching bone marrow that time

but she gave up her chance for the transplant

as she didn't want to risk it

she thought maybe she could only live for just another half a year if she chose to do it

and she rather have a peaceful one instead

after so many years

the advance in medical field actually benefits her

and now that her donor had passed away

she never regretted not having the transplant afterall

so we must not take thing for granted

when your body need to rest just rest
